Our journey continues

We made it to Pampa, Texas last night. Taking it easy has been great for the girls and for us. They have loved getting out at every stop and being able to stretch their legs. We have about 300 miles left to go so we should for sure get into Atoka late this afternoon. We have all had our breakfast, got cleaned up and our headed out onto our last stretch of highway! Oklahoma here we come!

Oklahoma Bound

Our new adventure began today. It was the hardest thing we have had to do saying good-bye to our family...we miss them so much already!
I did not get to take any photos on our first stretch of our trip as we left just before the snow hit and were traveling over the mountain. To keep you all updated: the roads were mostly clear and the babies did great! The girls slept most of the way and we made it to Monte Vista in Colorado. We had planned on staying in the camper tonight but it was freezing so...we are now in the most country styled motel and enjoying the warmth of the room and the laughter of our babies. I thank The Lord for the strength throughout this day and the safe travels we have already had. Praying for a good day tomorrow! Good-night all!

Whoohoo

What a night we had! The girls helped their dad set up the tent as soon as we arrived.

They were so excited to camp that we didn't stay in one spot for long. In no time we were all down by the lake getting wet and muddy lol. I will post more photos later... :)

Iversen Camping Trip 2012

Well we have only four days left with our little munchkin so we are making the most of it! Last night we had a great time mini night golfing until 10pm and had ice cream afterwards. Now we are on our way to Crawford State Park for some much needed family time. Skylar chose camping as her last big family outing and we were all way excited for it! So here we go...

Family Sunday

We have had such an incredible last few days! It started off having to drive hours to pick up our kiddos but we made it into a great time. After our Zoo fun we made it back home safely and went for a family barbecue at Darla and Greg's home. The kids love to play by the river! It was such a great weekend and it has continues into the week. Dan and I both want every day to count with Skylar and we are going to make them count. Our family time has always been special but it seems to really matter now... We all had so much fun Sunday and the food was great too!

Home Sweet Home

We made it home at 12:30am on Saturday...we of course had to make some stops...

Zoo Fun Time!

We had such a great time at the zoo. I want to share our family time, it was so great to get away and just be the family that we are. A loving, supportive and oh so amazingly fun family!
